SHINee just had their debut in Japan with the Japanese version of "Replay" a few months ago, and they've already released a second single featuring the Japanese version of "Juliette" on August 29th. SHINee managed to get to the first position on the Oricon Daily Chart for singles with 25,595 copies of "Juliette" sold on the 1st day of its release. The group snatched away the first position from popular girl group AKB48 and rookie group kis-my-ft2, who both sold 17,739 copies and 1,731 copies of their respective singles previously released weeks before. The new single is available in 3 formats, CD+DVD Type A, CD+DVD Type B, and regular edition CD. All of the editions include a special photo booklet. SHINee's 2nd Japanese single also includes the group's first original Japanese song, "Kiss Kiss Kiss," a mid-tempo ballad song.

SHINee has unleashed their second Japanese single, “JULIETTE“! They’ve already revealed their title track, “JULIETTE”, through their music video earlier this month, but now fans will finally get to hear their coupling track, “KISS KISS KISS“. The song is described as an uptempo ballad that aims to showcase SHINee’s smooth harmonies and warm tones. Labels: Audio, Japanese Debut Promotions, SHINee  The British Indie rock band One Night Only made a visit to Japan for MTV's "Music Aid." The band shot some videos of their sight seeing in Japan. In these videos, the Korean idol group SHINee was coincidentally in the same plane as the indie band. In fact, the camera captured SHINee's Taemin while he was passing by in the plane.
When they posted the videos on YouTube, the short appearance of Taemin caught eyes of K-pop fans and therefore, the videoreceived thousands of views. Surprisingly, instead of commenting on One Night Only’s journey, the viewers were seen to be more interested in Taemin. SHINee fans' comments on the video included, ”Oh my god I would have died if Taemin was on the same plane as me,” ”I keep replaying the part with Taemin,” ”Oh my god these guys were on the same plane as Taemin. They should have kissed his feet," and ”So weird and random that Taemin is on the same plane and just happens to get caught on camera.” Through these comments, it is obvious that the 4 second appearance of Taemin has captured the attention of many SHINee fans. The teaser was pretty short, so earlier today a longer preview was revealed on the Enta iikamo ON corner of Fuji TV’s Mezamashi TV. Scheduled to hit stores on August 29th, the group’s official website amped up the anticipation by revealing the single’s covers and tracklist! “JUILETTE” will come in three versions: a ‘regular version’ and two ‘first press limited’ editions. ‘First press limited edition A’ will come in a sleeve case with a CD and DVD, in addition to a 68-page photo booklet. It will also come with a “JULIETTE” badge mp3 player and one of five random tradiing cards. ‘First press limited edition B’, meanwhile, virtually has the same contents as ‘A’, but will not include the special “JULIETTE” mp3 piece. is the same as “A” but will not include the “JULIETTE” play button for MP3 players. And this edition is cheaper, ¥2,500. The group performed their debut single, “Replay ~ Kimi wa boku no Everything~“, as well as three other songs. SHINee made a great achievement by receiving the ‘Gold Disc Certificate’ for the first time as a Korean boy group. SHINee’s Japanese debut single, ‘Replay- 君は僕のEverything (너는 나의 모든 것),’ which was released on the 22nd, received the Gold Disc Certificate from the Japanese Record Association. Gold Disc Certificate is awarded to the album that has been sold over 100,000 copies. Since this is the first time as a Korean boy group, it proved SHINee’s high popularity in Japan once again. Revolution, GReeeeN, and Dir En Grey. 120,000 copies of the debut single were made for the first shipments, which means its marketing is made through Youtube. It has a positive effect on SM Entertainment’s sales. [from SBSCNBC] SM Entertainment stocks are showing strong as the visible results of “New Korean Wave” are confirmed. In the Kosdaq market on June 24, SM stocks are being traded at 19,400 Won (currently 9:13 a.m.), 2.65% up from the previous day. Daewoo Securities presented SM’s stock goal price as 30,000 Won with a comment that SM artists are making good sales overseas.
