On October 6th, Mnet broadcast performances from the ‘Hallyu Dream Concert‘ in place of their regular weekly airing of their music program, ‘M! Countdown‘.
Earlier this week, top stars gathered at the Kyungju Citizen Stadium for a night of fun performances put on by their favorite idols. Hosted by 2PM’s Taecyeon, SHINee’s Minho, and actress Park Shin Hye, the concert was led by artists like SNSD, TVXQ, 2PM, SHINee, miss A, B2ST, 4minute, T-ara, SISTAR, MBLAQ, ZE:A, Kim Gun Mo, IU, Seo In Guk, GD&TOP, Se7en, Gil Hak Mi, and Kim Bo Kyung.
Representatives of Mnet stated, “This Hallyu dream concert was especially meaningful in that it brought together the leaders of the K-Pop wave all over the world. We brought in wire cams and cutting edge sound technology to really capture the beauty of every performance.”

The band shot some videos of their sight seeing in Japan. In these videos, the Korean idol group SHINee was coincidentally in the same plane as the indie band. In fact, the camera captured SHINee's Taemin while he was passing by in the plane.
When they posted the videos on YouTube, the short appearance of Taemin caught eyes of K-pop fans and therefore, the videoreceived thousands of views. Surprisingly, instead of commenting on One Night Only’s journey, the viewers were seen to be more interested in Taemin. SHINee fans' comments on the video included, ”Oh my god I would have died if Taemin was on the same plane as me,” ”I keep replaying the part with Taemin,” ”Oh my god these guys were on the same plane as Taemin. They should have kissed his feet," and ”So weird and random that Taemin is on the same plane and just happens to get caught on camera.” Through these comments, it is obvious that the 4 second appearance of Taemin has captured the attention of many SHINee fans. The group performed their debut single, “Replay ~ Kimi wa boku no Everything~“, as well as three other songs. Additionally, they also announced the release of their second single, “JULIETTE“ on August 29th. Main vocalist Jonghyun hinted about their new song, “It’s a song that’ll make your heart race.” This debut event will continue until August 11th, as it visits various cities across Japan. Time sure flies! Earlier today, SM Entertainment uploaded a celebratory video of SHINee for their third year anniversary since their debut in May 2008. In the clip, the boys share their happiness with their fans for reaching a milestone in their career. Member Jonghyun also reflected back on their debut stage, commenting, “I was surprised [after watching it again] because we looked so young!” In addition, the members also encouraged fans to come see them at the ‘Dream Concert‘ on May 28th.
