On October 6th, Mnet broadcast performances from the ‘Hallyu Dream Concert‘ in place of their regular weekly airing of their music program, ‘M! Countdown‘. Earlier this week, top stars gathered at the Kyungju Citizen Stadium for a night of fun performances put on by their favorite idols. Hosted by 2PM’s Taecyeon, SHINee’s Minho, and actress Park Shin Hye, the concert was led by artists like SNSD, TVXQ, 2PM, SHINee, miss A, B2ST, 4minute, T-ara, SISTAR, MBLAQ, ZE:A, Kim Gun Mo, IU, Seo In Guk, GD&TOP, Se7en, Gil Hak Mi, and Kim Bo Kyung. Representatives of Mnet stated, “This Hallyu dream concert was especially meaningful in that it brought together the leaders of the K-Pop wave all over the world. The official line-up for this year’s Hallyu Dream Concert at the Gyeongju Civic Stadium on October 3rd has just been announced! A total of 19 idol groups and solo artists will be performing on that night. The full list includes: TVXQ, 2PM, SNSD, SHINee, miss A, GD&TOP, Se7en, SECRET, Kim Gun Mo, ZE:A, 4minute, B2ST, G.NA, T-ara, Davichi, SISTAR, IU, MBLAQ, and INFINITE. The 2011 Hallyu Dream Concert is being co-organized by the Committee of “Visit Korea Year”, the city of Gyeongju, and the Korea Entertainment Producers’ Association. It’s also being supported by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the Korea Tourism Organization. A total of 20,000 spectators including 5,000 overseas visitors are expected to attend the annual event.

Onew expressed his thankful feelings towards T-ara’s Boram on an episode of KBS 2TV’s “Nocturnal.”

The episode focused the members of the “Nocturnal” team helping to draw a mural on a dirty wall of an elementary school, and T-ara and IU made surprise visits as guests and joined the team to help out.

The MCs were more than happy with the extra help and provided them with snacks such as ddukboki (hot rice cakes) and fish cakes.

During the meal, Shin Dong Yeob and Yoon Jong Shin suggested Onew feed the snacks to the female celebrity (that was present) he has the most interest in. Without hesitation, Onew declared that he “had a person he’s always wanted to give to,” surprising the MCs.

The target of his affections turned out to be Boram, leading to a ‘rose colored’ atmosphere as Boram shyed away while the T-ara members revealed, “Boram has always been a hardcore fan of Onew.”

Onew answered, “I already knew that she was my fan through reading articles. I’ve always wanted to thank her for saying that she likes me.”

The episode will broadcast on December 19th at 11:15 PM.

MBC’s Music Core has returned once again with another fun and exciting show!

On today’s show, boy group Touch made their comeback, while Dalmatian’s Drama and B2ST’s Yoseob performed their debut duet stage. Elsewhere, Park Hyo Shin had his farewell stage.

Of particular note today was the teaser for the Christmas Day special next week.
